About
Éditions du Mercredi is an independent French publishing house, founded in 2014 in the Languedoc region, and since 2018 based in Normandy.
Specializing in children's literature, our publishing house champions a simple idea:
to offer young readers books that help them grow, dream and think , with as much heart as high standards.
We publish a wide variety of books, aimed at a broad audience:
picture books for the youngest children , humorous, historical or fiction novels for children, pre-teens, teenagers and young adults.
Since our beginnings, we have trusted renowned authors such as Elisabeth Brami, Yaël Hassan, Rachel Hausfater, Corinne Albaut or Françoise Grard , and talented illustrators like Michel Boucher, Emmanuelle Halgand, la Wawa or Eva Sanchez.
Their imagination, sensitivity, and humor give each book a unique personality.
In our company, literary quality and visual richness go hand in hand with the pleasure of reading.
We love stories that question the world, awaken curiosity, provoke emotion… and make people smile.
Each publication is the result of passionate collective work , from text to image, from idea to the book-object:
a human adventure in service of childhood, creativity and transmission.
🌿 Books that make you think, feel, and… laugh!
Because Wednesday is children's day, but also the day of dreamers and the readers of tomorrow.
