The scorpionfish, the fakir, and the cow dung

In this collection of 40 irreverent poems, in five lines and two rhymes, on the model of English limericks, Corinne Albaut has managed to rediscover the spirit imbued with nonsense and derision of them.
At once funny, impertinent, absurd and stimulating, these well-crafted little texts are perfectly highlighted by Michel Boucher's quirky and whimsical illustrations.
He superimposed old engravings, which he then coloured, onto backgrounds painted with gouache.
