A painter, illustrator, and scenic artist, Julie has always been passionate about drawing. A jack-of-all-trades, she uses a wide variety of media: acrylic, oil pastel, oil paint, pencil, colored pencils... on canvas, cardboard, paper, wood, walls, furniture... her illustration work is mainly done in mixed media (collages of paper and fabric combined with acrylic paint).

A Breath of Freedom is the first book she illustrated.
