Andre Nahum

Well-known in the world of Judeo-Maghrebi literature, André Nahum is the author of half a dozen works on the oral traditions of the various communities of the Maghreb, popular humor, and the character of Djoha. He has also published a collection of short stories and a historical novel, The Doctor of Kairouan, which won the ADELF and City of Paris Maghreb-Mediterranean Africa literary prize in 1996.
